Kinloch Jones and the Rev. E. A. Richards officiated. The bride, who was given away by her stepfather, Sir George Lacon, viore a gown of white French lace, the bodice and sleeves picked out in a silver leaf design and the full skirt extended to torm a train. Her circular veil, threaded with silver, was sur- mounted by a tiara of pearls, and she carried a shower-bouquet of mixed flame-coloured flowers. The bridesmaids-Miss Noreen Rath- bone (sister of the bridegroom) and M iss Audrey Gold-wore dresses of white chiffon, cut on classical lines, with wide, gold- embroidered belts. Their head-dresses were of white flowers and chiffon, and they carried bouquets of mixed flame-coloured flowers. Mr. John Rathbone was best man. The reception was held at the Blakency Hotel."
